This short course is a great introduction to what it is like to be a forensic scientist, it gives students the opportunity to understand what this job role entails. Students will look at a murder scene and using forensic evidence discover who killed the victim. They will be covering DNA fingerprinting, fibre and pollen analysis, how to work out when a victim died, fingerprinting and poisons.

There will be lab work in every lesson so if you enjoy the practical aspects of Biology and have an interest in criminology, this is a course that would suit you!
